Richard Hawley and band took Coles Corner to the York Museum Gardens this weekend, for an evening of vintage tracks of nostalgia, love, and loss, amongst the St Mary’s Abbey ruins. In recognition of the Sheffield musician’s album - Coles Corner, turning 20 this year, the album was performed in full for the first time, accompanied by a string section.

Leeds royalty Kaiser Chiefs delivered an evening of indie rock classics, with special guests, to celebrate 20 years since their debut album - Employment. Temple Newsam welcomed a line up of different nostalgic indie acts before the showstopper five piece band welcomed riots and angry mobs - all whilst never missing a beat!

Festival season is now upon us, with fields and parks nationwide preparing to open for some of the biggest names and upcoming stars in the music industry making the line ups. We kicked off our gig season at Live at Leeds in the Park, - a day festival based at Temple Newsam.
