Stockport's finest delivered an evening of groovy tunes and synth pop at the Doncaster Dome.
The lads took to the stage after a rather disappointing World Cup match of England V USA, and they certainly lightened the spirits of the audience ranging from different demographics.
Led by front man Tom Odgen, the band consists of Joe Donovan on drums, Charlie Salt on bass, Josh Dewhurst on guitar and percussion and Myles Kellock on keyboard.

Playing hit tracks Your Girlfriend, Honey Sweet and The Keeper, the band were greeted with applause from start to finish.
Touring their fourth album Ribbon Around The Bomb, the lads played album tracks Care For, Ode to NYC and The Sulking Poet.
The album itself took a shift from their previous studio albums, but the heartfelt song writing was still at its forefront. Ultimately demonstrating that the band of best mates are capable of further broadening their discography, within this album and beyond.
Odgen introduced a new, unreleased song ‘Big Word’ which was smooth synth track which gave us a flavour of the new tunes to come on album number five, featuring some groovy bass from Salt.
No Blossoms gig would be complete without Ogden performing acoustic heartbreak tune, My Favourite Room, a track of genuine, honest feelings which brings the crowd together without fail. The Dome was no different with a mixture of songs You’re Gorgeous, Half the World Away and Last Christmas added at the end with their matching melodies.
The quintet has greatly grown in stage presence and excelled in perfecting their set list with cleverly devised musical interludes throughout.

The show closed with an encore of their hit song Charlemagne which was met with a buzzing atmosphere and an inevitable bouncing mosh pit.
You can still catch Blossoms on their UK tour as they are playing in Brighton, Belfast and Dublin before closing the tour with four nights at the O2 Apollo in Manchester. For further information, visit here.
