Indie champions - Two Door Cinema Club have released a new upbeat, summery track - ‘Happy Customers’, and announced a US tour.

The trio from Bangor, Northern Ireland, have been on the music scene for almost two decades and are known globally for their tunes, especially the timeless ‘Undercover Martyn’ and ‘What You Know’.

The new release can be instantly recognised as a Two Door track with its distinct guitar riffs but it vocally differs from previous releases. In particular, with this tune the lead singer - Alex Trimble, showcases his wide vocal range throughout the track.

The pop track is very cheerfully upbeat, which greatly differs from the lyricism of the song, and it certainly has a memorable chorus that will likely be chanted at gigs.

“Days, same as always
Somewhere halfway
Something new
We could wait for tomorrow
Where’d the time go?
What can we do?”

The album artwork of the track was created by Alan Fears - known for his 80s-inspired colourful paintings, who also made the bands artwork for ‘Keep On Smiling’.

Two Door Cinema Club will be performing at several UK festivals this year, including the likes of Leeds and Reading - where they have been regular headliners over the years. For full dates visit their website here.
